Special edition
I’ve recorded a special video this week that is new for the newsletter! As you may have noticed, I post a lot of Latin sayings and proverbs. (This is probably an understatement.) This video, though it contains some discussion, is an abbreviated version of a longer form video I’ll release later this week on Youtube, which will be a more detailed discussion of Latin quotes and ideas about love.

It would very helpful to us if you could rate or review Erictho: Tartarorum Terror. So, if you’ve gotten your hands on a copy, please let us know what you think on Amazon.
Latin Basics
This week, we experimented with something on social media and Youtube shorts: Latin basics. We won’t replace our normal, more intermediate content with “Latin basics” shorts, but we would publish them in addition to it. The “Latin basics” videos would cover little bits of more elementary Latin syntax and grammar in Latin. The idea is to help learners talk about basic features of Latin in Latin. What do you think about this?

"Latin basics" can be useful, especially if you make it/suggest it as a type of "course", with a... sort of invitation for users to follow it and revisit those shorts regularly.
Research shows that learning in "short" sessions with repetition is good for memory retention (with digital format, it's especially important).
If it doesn't invite the learner to use it for repetition (in a structured way), it may be a lot of work for you that's lost inside someone's Latin scrolling... (not possible to tell from this side).
I (personally) dislike short-form content (I'm the "wrong generation"), but it can be a cool way to revisit some grammar chapters, and the idea of focusing on basics... I find it great.
"Latin basics" are always in demand.
